Session actions via prefix-matched Origin header
Published Aug 20, 2024 · Updated Aug 20, 2024
CORS misconfiguration in Casdoor 1.577.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to act as a signed-in user through a malicious website. The CorsFilter checks untrusted Origin values with broad string prefixes, then reflects a matching value in Access-Control-Allow-Origin while enabling credentialed requests. Exploitation requires a signed-in user to visit an attacker-controlled site and exposes only the actions and data available to that user's session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
