Victim-browser script execution via unsanitized id reflection
Published Jul 29, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Reflected XSS in AML Partners SURETY Eco before 3.5 allows remote attackers to execute script in a victim's browser via a crafted id value. The unauthenticated AppError.aspx page inserts the id query value into its response without sanitization, causing supplied JavaScript to run when the page renders. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted URL and is bounded to browser-context actions available to the affected origin.
