Administrative layout changes via forged requests
Published Jul 19, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Spina CMS 2.18.0 allows remote attackers to alter administrative layout data via /admin/layout. The Spina admin layout controller accepts a state-changing request without verifying that the authenticated administrator intentionally initiated it. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator's browser to submit the forged request; published material does not identify the controllable layout fields or any further consequence.
