CVE-2024-41594Network attack vector

Sensitive-information disclosure via predictable TLS randomness

Published Oct 3, 2024 · Updated Mar 19, 2025

Inadequate encryption in DrayTek Vigor310 through 4.3.2.6 allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information over the management UI. The httpd backend seeds OpenSSL's TLS pseudorandom generator with a static string, making cryptographic output predictable rather than using fresh entropy. No authentication or user interaction is required, but exploitation requires network access to the Vigor management interface and affects confidentiality without reported integrity or availability impact.
