Code execution via unbounded query parameter indexing
Published Oct 3, 2024 · Updated Oct 3, 2024
Stack-based buffer overflow in the Vigor3910 Web UI through 4.3.2.6 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via crafted query strings. GetCGI splits the query string at ampersands and stores each resulting pointer in a fixed stack array without limiting the parameter count. Access to an adjacent network and low privileges is required; successful exploitation can crash the router or execute code on it.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
