Item duplication via unchecked recipe-transfer slot index
Published Aug 28, 2024 · Updated Mar 19, 2025
Improper slot-index validation in JustEnoughItems 19.5.0.33 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to duplicate in-game items. The BasicRecipeTransferHandler.transferRecipe method allowed recipe transfers to touch output slots without validating target slot indices. A Minecraft session with recipe-transfer access is required, and the consequence is limited to in-game item duplication.
