Browser script execution via unneutralized res_url input
Published Oct 4, 2024 · Updated Oct 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in 4PACE CADClick 1.11.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script through res_url. The ccHandlerResource.ashx handler reflects the res_url value into its response in executable form rather than neutralizing HTML metacharacters. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and a victim to load the crafted request, enabling browser-context data access or page modification without service interruption.
