Arbitrary file read via unrestricted path parameter
Published Oct 4, 2024 · Updated Mar 26, 2025
Path traversal in BinaryFileRedirector.ashx in 4PACE CADClick 1.11.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read arbitrary local files. The endpoint returns the file named by the path parameter without restricting retrieval to intended content directories. Reachability requires access to the web endpoint; the disclosure does not identify an authentication requirement and demonstrates reading Windows configuration files, not file modification or code execution.
