Cross-project resource control via omitted access lookup
Published Jun 8, 2024 · Updated Aug 30, 2024
Incorrect authorization in Lunary before 1.2.26 allows remote attackers to read, create, update, and delete resources in other projects. The checkProjectAccess middleware confirms only that the requester belongs to the project's organization and omits the account_project lookup that enforces explicit project access. Once organization-level access succeeds, the requester can control resources outside the assigned project, including sensitive data.
