Administrative access via improper token input validation
Published May 1, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Improper input validation in affected JFrog Artifactory 7.x releases allows remote attackers to gain administrative access. JFrog identifies the locus as the token creation flow but has not disclosed which input is accepted incorrectly or how token privileges are elevated. Low-privileged authenticated users can reach the flaw, and anonymous access with Deploy or Cache permissions for remote repositories also exposes it.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
