Cross-user rule deletion via missing authorization
Published May 14, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Missing authorization in SAP S/4HANA Manage Bank Statement Reprocessing Rules allows remote authenticated users to delete other users' rules. The rule-deletion path fails to verify that the requesting user owns or is authorized to remove the selected rule. A low-privileged authenticated account can alter bank-statement processing integrity; confidentiality and availability remain unaffected.
