Browser script execution via unfiltered tab parameter
Published Jul 26, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Reflected XSS in the ICEcoder 8.1 settings screen allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in a user's browser via a crafted URL. lib/settings-screen.php concatenates the unfiltered tab query parameter into switchTab() code emitted inside the page's onload attribute. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted URL and exposes ICEcoder-origin data and actions available to that user's browser session.
