Published Aug 29, 2024 · Updated Aug 30, 2024
SQL injection in chat/settyping.php in causefx Organizr 1.90 allows remote attackers to execute SQL via a crafted chat username. The endpoint splits datavars on ### and interpolates its first value as $user into a DELETE statement without validation or parameterization. Chat is disabled by default and requires an administrator to enable it; once enabled, requests need no authentication, and writable web content permits code execution.
