Reflected XSS via unsanitized API action
Published Aug 29, 2024 · Updated Aug 30, 2024
Cross-site scripting in api.php in Organizr 1.90 allows remote attackers to run browser scripts through a crafted API action. The default action branch copies the GET parameter named a into an error result and JSON-encodes it without neutralizing HTML event-handler syntax. An empty API key permits unauthenticated reachability, but script execution requires a user to render the response in a browser.
