Administrator-session script execution via unescaped import parameters
Published Aug 29, 2024 · Updated Jan 26, 2026
Reflected XSS in phpIPAM 1.6 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through crafted import-preview query parameters. import-load-data.php reads expfields and importFields__ values from the query string and concatenates them unescaped into headings, hidden inputs, and an error message rendered by import-devices-preview.php. A logged-in administrator must open the crafted request; the script runs in that administrator's browser and can act within the session.
