Script execution via decoded editor input
Published Aug 29, 2024 · Updated Aug 29, 2024
Reflected XSS in Baijunyao BJYAdmin commit a560fd5 allows remote attackers to run script via the getContent.php myEditor POST field. The endpoint applies htmlspecialchars to the submitted value but reverses that protection with htmlspecialchars_decode immediately before echoing it into an HTML div. Exploitation requires a browser to render the crafted response, allowing script to act within the BJYAdmin origin without affecting service availability.
