CVE-2024-41339Network attack vector

Authenticated code execution via configuration upload endpoint

Published Feb 27, 2025 · Updated Jul 8, 2026

Code execution in DrayTek Vigor router firmware allows remote authenticated users to run arbitrary code through a CGI endpoint. The configuration-restore CGI endpoint accepts a crafted configuration payload as an undocumented kernel module and loads it into the router kernel. Access to the management interface and a low-privileged authenticated session are required, after which attacker-supplied kernel code executes on the device.
