Credential disclosure via non-constant-time password comparison

Timing side channel in DrayTek Vigor router firmware allows remote attackers to recover password information through network requests. Credential comparison paths call strcmp and memcmp, whose data-dependent early exits make response timing vary with the number of matching input bytes. Repeated unauthenticated requests to a reachable credential-checking interface can disclose credential information without changing router data or availability.
