Authenticated command execution via webcmd cmd parameter
Published Jul 23, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Command injection in TOTOLINK A6000R Firmware 1.0.1-B20201211.2000 allows remote authenticated users to execute operating-system commands. The LuCI webcmd handler in /usr/lib/lua/luci/controller/mtkwifi.lua uses the cmd query value as a shell command without input neutralization. The published request requires a sysauth session and management-network access; successful injection can modify files and run commands with the web service's privileges.
