Command execution via unsanitized WPS interface name
Published Jul 22, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Command injection in TOTOLINK A6000R firmware 1.0.1-B20201211.2000 allows remote authenticated users to execute OS commands. The apcli_do_enr_pbc_wps handler in /usr/lib/lua/luci/controller/mtkwifi.lua inserts the ifname URL-path value into a shell command without neutralizing metacharacters. Access requires a valid sysauth session from an adjacent network, and injected commands run on the router with the handler's privileges.
