Published Aug 7, 2024 · Updated Aug 7, 2024
Privilege escalation in Enjay CRM OS 1.0 allows local users to obtain a root shell through the Ping feature's terminal window. The Ping interface launches a terminal as root, and its File menu permits a New Tab or New Window outside the restricted CRM environment. Access to the local CRM OS interface and interaction with the Ping window are required; successful exploitation grants unrestricted root-level command execution.
