Memory corruption via unchecked manualTime length
Published Apr 24, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda W15E 15.11.0.14 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via a crafted time setting. The formSetSysTime handler for /goform/SetSysTimeCfg accepts the manualTime request value without enforcing the destination stack buffer's capacity. Authenticated management access is required; public records do not establish whether exploitation causes a crash or code execution.
