Traffic interception via disabled certificate verification
Published Jul 31, 2024 · Updated Jul 31, 2024
Improper certificate validation in GoFrame 2.7.2 gclient allows attackers to intercept or alter HTTPS traffic from client applications. The default gclient transport disables server TLS-certificate verification, so it accepts certificates that do not authenticate the peer. Exploitation requires control of the network path and an application that retains the default transport; exchanged data can then be read or changed.
