Authenticated memory corruption via staticRouteIndex overflow
Published Apr 24, 2024 · Updated Sep 3, 2024
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda W15E 15.11.0.14 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via a crafted static route request. The formSetStaticRoute handler processes an overlong staticRouteIndex value without enforcing the destination stack buffer's capacity. Low-privileged access to the web management interface is required, and arbitrary code execution has not been publicly demonstrated.
