CVE-2024-41241Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Browser script execution via unescaped error parameter

Published Aug 7, 2024 · Updated Sep 3, 2024

Reflected XSS in Kashipara Group Responsive School Management System 3.2.0 allows remote attackers to run script in a victim's browser. The /smsa/admin_login.php page returns the error parameter in its HTML response without neutralizing script markup, causing supplied code to execute in the page's origin. No authentication is required to supply the parameter, but a victim must follow the crafted request; resulting script can read or alter data available to that browser session.
