Stored script execution via class_name injection
Published Aug 7, 2024 · Updated Aug 8, 2024
Stored XSS in Responsive School Management System 3.2.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through the class_name field. The add_class_submit.php handler stores class_name input without neutralizing active markup, which executes when a user later views the saved class value. High-privilege access is required to submit the value, and another user's interaction is required to trigger script execution in the application's origin.
