CVE-2024-41226Public exploit

Arbitrary code execution via CSV formula injection

Published Aug 6, 2024 · Updated Sep 3, 2024

CSV injection in Automation Anywhere Automation 360 build 21094 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code through a crafted HTTP response. A client-controlled value enters the response and remains a formula-capable CSV field that a spreadsheet interprets as a command. Execution requires an end user to open the resulting CSV in a formula-evaluating spreadsheet; Automation Anywhere disputes that the report describes an attack on Control Room.
