Administrator access via whitespace-altered TCP packet
Published May 22, 2025 · Updated May 23, 2025
Authentication bypass in Ocuco Innovation INNOVASERVICEINTF.EXE 2.10.24.17 allows remote attackers to gain Administrator access. The login path accepts an intercepted TCP packet after selected bytes are replaced with hexadecimal 20 whitespace, then continues without an authorization check. Network access sufficient to intercept and alter the application's TCP traffic permits unrestricted use of administrative functions.
