CVE-2024-41163Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated directory disclosure via archive path traversal

Published Oct 3, 2024 · Updated Dec 18, 2024

Path traversal in Veertu Anka Build 1.42.0 allows remote attackers to download arbitrary directories through unauthenticated HTTP requests. The handleGetArchive method passes the unvalidated service parameter to Compress, which appends it beneath Centrol-logs and returns the resulting archive. Access to either the Controller or Registry archive endpoint is sufficient; returned archives expose host files without modifying them.
