Network configuration disclosure via uncleansed profile exports
Published Oct 29, 2024 · Updated Jan 9, 2025
Information exposure in Hitachi Energy TRO600 9.0.1.0 through 9.2.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to read network configuration data. The configuration utility exports profile files in plain-text and encrypted formats without removing sensitive Tropos network settings. Exploitation requires a high-privilege account with write access; the disclosed settings aid reconnaissance but do not directly alter device state.
