CVE-2024-41151Network attack vector

Authenticated code execution via notice template injection

Published Nov 18, 2024 · Updated Nov 18, 2024

Deserialization of untrusted data in Apache HertzBeat before 1.6.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code. Apache identifies notice templates as the injection point but has not published the deserialization call, data format, or complete input-to-sink path. An authorized account must inject a crafted notice template; successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled code in the HertzBeat server process.
