HBUS device interruption via duplicate identifiers
Published Dec 12, 2024 · Updated Dec 12, 2024
Denial of service in affected Gallagher Controller 6000 and Controller 7000 firmware allows physically proximate attackers to interrupt HBUS devices. The firmware permits multiple HBUS resources to share one identifier; Gallagher has not disclosed the responsible routine or parsing path. Physical access to HBUS communication cabling is required, and recovery requires rebooting the affected devices.
