CVE-2024-41124

API traffic interception via cleartext endpoint URLs

Published Jul 19, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Cleartext transmission in A.R.P. Syndicate Puncia before 0.21 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to read or alter API traffic. The API_URLS table in puncia/main.py assigns HTTP endpoints to every Subdomain Center and Exploit Observer request, including authenticated beta requests. Exploitation requires an adjacent attacker able to intercept a user-initiated connection; exposed query data and API keys can be read or changed, and returned intelligence can be tampered with.
