CVE-2024-41108Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Credential disclosure via unauthenticated host service requests

Published Jul 31, 2024 · Updated Jul 31, 2024

Missing authorization in FOG Project before 1.5.10.41 allows remote attackers to read Active Directory credentials via service requests. The hostinfo.php and hostname.php services accept a client MAC address without authenticating the requester, then return stored host configuration and legacy domain passwords. Network access and knowledge of an enrolled client are required, and hostinfo.php exposes task data only while that host has a pending task.
