CVE-2024-41107Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Account takeover via unsigned SAML responses

Published Jul 19, 2024 · Updated Mar 19, 2025

Authentication bypass in Apache CloudStack 4.5.0 through 4.18.2.1 and 4.19.0.0 through 4.19.0.2 allows remote attackers to access user accounts. The SAML login handler accepts a response with the signature removed and trusts its user attributes, including a changed username, to select the CloudStack account. SAML must be enabled and the attacker must know or guess a SAML-enabled username; a successful request grants control of that user's accessible cloud resources.
