Local kernel compromise via invalid per-CPU index

Memory corruption in the vmalloc subsystem in Linux allows local users to crash the kernel through routine file I/O on affected SPARC systems. addr_to_vb_xa() hashes a vmap address to a per-CPU vmap_block_queue without ensuring that the selected index names a possible, initialized CPU. Systems whose cpu_possible_mask contains gaps are exposed; the invalid per-CPU access can yield kernel memory reads, writes, frees, and an oops or panic.
