Local kernel panic via oversized MMC transfer

A denial of service in the Linux 6.9 davinci_mmc driver allows local users to trigger a kernel panic through an oversized PIO transfer. The PIO transmit loop in mmc_davinci_prepare_data() advances scatter-gather state without limiting the requested byte count to sgm->length. Exploitation requires local access to a system using the TI DaVinci MMC host controller and interrupts the entire operating system.
