Untrusted pointer dereference in Absolute Secure Access before 13.07 allows local users with desktop credentials to gain SYSTEM privileges. Absolute has not named the vulnerable server or Windows client component; it accepts invalid address data as a pointer and dereferences it. Local desktop access and valid credentials are required; successful exploitation changes a normal process token to the SYSTEM security context.
