Settings modification via missing nonce validation
Published May 9, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in WPJoli Joli FAQ SEO 1.3.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to modify plugin settings. The settings-save path processes state-changing input without correctly validating a WordPress nonce, so a forged request runs under an administrator's session. Exploitation requires an authenticated site administrator to follow a crafted link or submit the forged request, and the impact is limited to unauthorized plugin-setting changes.
