Out-of-bounds read in Apple macOS Kernel before 12.7.6, 13.6.8, and 14.6 allows local users to shut down the system. Apple identifies the locus only as the Kernel and has not disclosed which input path or validation error permits the out-of-bounds read. Low-privileged local execution is required, and successful exploitation interrupts the entire host rather than only one application.
