Arbitrary code execution via out-of-bounds write
Published Jul 23, 2024 · Updated Sep 29, 2025
Memory corruption in National Instruments LabVIEW 2024 Q1 and earlier allows local users to disclose data or execute code via a crafted VI. The tdcore_24_1.dll library uses an improper length check when processing crafted VI data, permitting an out-of-bounds write. Exploitation requires a user to open the malicious VI, after which successful execution can compromise data or interrupt the application.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
