Privacy bypass in AppleMobileFileIntegrity in affected Apple operating systems allows attackers to use a local app to evade Privacy preferences. AppleMobileFileIntegrity accepts downgraded app code without sufficient code-signing restrictions, allowing the app to escape current privacy controls. Local app execution is required; affected releases precede iOS and iPadOS 17.6, macOS 12.7.6, 13.6.8, or 14.6 by branch, tvOS 17.6, and watchOS 10.6.
