Unauthenticated firewall crash via IPSec heap overflow

Heap-based buffer overflow in the SonicWall SonicOS IPSec VPN allows remote attackers to crash affected Gen6 and Gen7 firewalls. SonicWall identifies the IPSec VPN processing path but has not disclosed the packet field, parser, or copy operation that overruns heap storage. An unauthenticated network peer can reach the flaw with IPSec traffic; the documented consequence is a service-interrupting crash, with no reported data disclosure or modification.
