Browser script execution via interface Name parameter
Published Jul 9, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Cross-site scripting in NetBox Labs NetBox 4.0.3 allows remote attackers to execute browser scripts through the interface Name field. The interface-add handler accepts the crafted value, but public sources do not identify the rendering locus or exact escaping failure. Exploitation requires a victim to render the affected response, exposing data or actions available in that browser session.
