Database disclosure via unchecked sort identifier
Published Jul 7, 2024 · Updated Nov 25, 2025
SQL injection in EGroupware before 23.1.20240624 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through crafted sorting requests. Nextmatch::ajax_get_rows copies the request's sort.id value into an ORDER BY field without restricting it to a safe column identifier, so injected SQL errors return queried values in the JSON response. Any authenticated account that can sort Address Book or InfoLog entries can use the error oracle to disclose database contents.
