Stored XSS in the Nimbus skin for MediaWiki through 1.42.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in visitors' browsers. NimbusTemplate.php appends unescaped text from MediaWiki:Nimbus-sidebar menu and submenu entries directly to generated navigation HTML. Editing the interface message requires high privileges, and execution requires another user to render the sidebar, enabling browser-context data access or page modification.
