Stored XSS in the GuMaxDD skin for MediaWiki through 1.42.1 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts in visitors' browsers. GuMaxDD.skin.php emits a top-level MediaWiki:Sidebar entry without HTML escaping and incompletely escapes its derived id attribute. An interface administrator or similarly privileged editinterface user must store the payload, which executes when a visitor loads a page using the skin.
