File disclosure via CLI path traversal
Published Aug 12, 2025 · Updated Jan 14, 2026
Relative path traversal in Fortinet FortiCamera, FortiMail, FortiNDR, FortiRecorder, and FortiVoice allows local users to read files. Crafted CLI paths containing relative components are resolved outside intended directories, exposing files from the underlying filesystem. Administrative CLI privileges are required, and the reported consequence is read-only disclosure without integrity or availability impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=1.0.3 <=1.0.5
- Affected versionversion=1.1.0 <=1.1.5
- Affected versionversion=2.0.0
- Affected versionversion=2.1.0 <=2.1.4
