Sensitive-data disclosure via unsanitized SQL parameter
Published Jun 17, 2025 · Updated Jun 18, 2025
SQL injection in admin_datarelate.php in SeaCMS 12.9 allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive database data. The handler uses the POST sql parameter directly in a database query without neutralizing attacker-controlled SQL syntax. The administrative endpoint must be reachable with an authenticated session; the proof of concept demonstrates a time-delay query, while the recorded impact is limited to disclosure.
