Arbitrary SQL execution via unneutralized dataScope parameter
Published Jul 12, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in Codermy MySpringSecurityPlus before 2024.07.03 allows remote attackers to execute SQL through /api/dept/build. The endpoint accepts a dataScope parameter that reaches database query construction without neutralizing SQL metacharacters, allowing attacker-controlled syntax to alter the executed statement. NVD assesses that no account or operator interaction is required; successful exploitation can read, alter, or delete database data.
